I´ve posted twice with no answers...
I´ve seen pages considered by google as backward links, they are internal pages linking to home.
Does it make any difference to use absoulute paths or relative when linking from an internal page to home?
(just regarding to google, don´t mention html or developing benefits please)...
?

I'm no expert, but I've not noticed any significant difference between using absolute and relative internal links.

I'm interested in this as a competitor site I watch has moved ahead of my site by two page rank points, and as far as I can see, majority of links on this site are internal links with absolute urls.
