Google-Bug!?

wrong URL with my title and description in the index

My domain widget.com is listed in a directory using links like www.widgetdirectory.com/links.php?action=rated&link_id=123. Recently Google changed my URL to this strange URL. With my most important keyword I have a Top10 listing with my title, description and this wrong URL. I guess it is a google-bug. The right URL has a least 50 backlinks and lots of content.

The main page is not reachable with this link anymore. How can I make Google to switch to the old URL? I am afraid to do a spam report as I don’t wanna get a penalty for the main URL. Do I have any chance to contact somebody to check that? The German Googlestaff told me by email, there is no way to change this manually.

Something similar was reported by 2 another members whose URL was hijacked by affiliate. See My affiliate redirect to my page on Google result! [webmasterworld.com]

With the link gone, in time it should return to normal.

I've seen a couple of this situation and in all cases has nothing to do with Google or affiliate hijacking.

Most likely, this is a DNS misconfiguration on your hosting provider part.

Sticky me if you want and I'll take a quick look at it.

Welcome anyway to WW.
