Google Returning Suggest Spelling Corrections/Synonyms(?) in results

What G thinks you want vs. what you ask for

For particular searches (am I allowed to give an example?) Google now includes results based off of the suggested spelling correction right in the results.

For example:
A search for "widgits" used to return "Did you mean: widgets", but still show results for "widgits".

Now a search for "widgits" still says "Did you mean", but will return (and bold) results that contain "widgets".

Note that the above example doesn't actually work (am I allowed to post an example query?), but I can sticky anyone an example that does work.

We use both SEO and WordAds in Google to address mispellings and after a very quick check the results for the mispelling of the country name only show results for the mispelling.

Our SEO page is #1 and our WordAd is all alone beside it.

Try "Epson U-230" (without quotes). Look at what get's bolded vs. what was actually searced for. Maybe this has always been the behavior for certain marginal cases.
