However I have noticed a few strange things going on with the datacenres since they changed the way they update:
1) DataCentres seem to have diffrent results, not just new/old, but new/newish/old so doing a link:mydomain.com or allinurl:mydomain.com would show up different results, half of the time the datacentres dont seem to be in synch and give these type of results on the different DCs, but sometimes in a matter of 24hrs they seem to all synch up (I usually check link: and allinurl: at least once a day).
2) A new everflux seems to have appeared; My logs indicated this month that google had been to my site on the 4th and indexed some pages (new site) and then did not return until the 22nd, on the 23rd after checking 'allinurl:' i noticed it had come and indexed some new pages (some were freshies some werent), however this was present on all DCs, they all seemed to have updated my new pages within 24hrs. But to my astonishment they all dissapeared, again accross all DCs. Before everflux made sense, but now with all the DCs synching up it seems to be illogical.
From what i've seen it seems that Google are still tinkering with the way they handle the index propogation through the datacentres, and also the way in which they publish new content into the index.
Any more thoughts on this?
