Any movement in SERPS?

Is anybody else noticing SERPS staying much the same recently? It seemed like they were changing every couple of days going back 2-3 weeks.

Also new sites seem to get indexed pretty quickly but don't get the ranking that they did a month or two ago.

Frequent update and fast ranking were just about the only differences I noticed after the major turbulence of the past 3 months. Have Google now decided they were a bad idea?

I noticed the same thing.
Unfortunately for me during the "turbulent times" one of my sites was ranking 1 or 2. Now it's been stuck at nearly 200 for no good reason.
I got up today (Monday morning) expecting to see the SERPs changed as they seemed to be doing every Monday but no, exactly the same.
