Google getting better with dynamic URL's

Three and four variable URL's in the index....

We have URL's in google that are 3 and 4 variable php strings.

This is new, I'm sure. Or is this just happening because we have a better PR now? In other words, does google "trust" higher PR sites won't send them around a recursive loop so they index the dynamics?

At Boston PubConference IV last spring, Matt Cutts from Google mentioned that they were working hard on learning how to crawl better through dynamic sites. Looks like their work is beginning to show.
