The site is all html, adverage of 1 photo on each page and decent amount of text. All in all its a good informative site.
In the first 3 months I had a link to a pr7 site and it filtered down to my page. For the first 3 months there was not too much by way of visitors or spiders. However there were referals from the pr7 site.
The next 4 months the listings shot through the roof, the real competition was the main printer site. The site was making a good bit, good for a hobby site, of money. Emails were popping to 30 or so per day and basic information was swapped back and forth.
Three months later the sites listing went down once again and I let the site lapse as far as adding new information and emails. At this point I redesigned the web site and decided to add more pages and more product/affiliate links to the site. I let it ferment awhile longer and stopped working on it.
The next four months were great and the site did really well much better than the past 7 months.
Well wouldnt you know it 3 months later the site dropped off the face of the earth once again. This time I did nothing with the site and worked on everything else under the sun.
Are you seeing a pattern here. Well the next 4 months I got the same as the other 4 month periods, but this one was more commissions than emails so that was a time saver.
The next 3 months were down again and that is where I am sitting today, in a slump. However I am anticipating the listing going back up once again more so than the money. Partly due to understanding the pattern google is putting out these past few months/years. The other side is I would like to see if any of you in the same field is or has seen the same thing. It really does not have to be in the same field, I am looking to see if anyone has seen this pattern with any particular products/areas of googles data base.
