Pagerank increase

I've recently upgraded to Google Toolbar 2.0 and

Hi, I've recently upgraded to Google Toolbar 2.0 and my pagerank for my index page has gone up to PR5 from PR4 seemingly at the same time. Would this be due to my PR rating actually going up or does Google toolbar 2 actually rank pages slightly different?

The number of banklinks pointing to my page is the same but I've got a higher PR. Have any other users noticed a small increase in PR with no noticable increase in backlinks? Could this be a Googlebot update in progress?

I dont think its the new toolbar as there have been a few people recently saying their PR has changed since the backlinks have updated.

same happened to me. My homepage went up from 3 to 5.
I must have been a coinsidence though because it shows up the same on the old bar (checking on different PC).

Still good news though. Me happy :)

Its also somewhat possible the new toolbar (or really any toolbar at any time) could've gotten different PR as a result of retreiving PR data from a different datacenter.

I'd agree that its probably just a coincidence, though.
