Hi,

6 months ago we relaunched a site for one of our customers.
I can't remember if we assigned it a new IP or not.

In the beginning google needed a long time to index the new pages, it preferred to get the old pages (which obviously dont exist anymore) :(
After a month or so it managed to get all the new pages.

The site has the same backlinks as before the relaunch.
The 1st page has PR5 (as before).
All other pages have white PR.

Any idea?

It just seems to be taking a while for PR to catch up. It may in fact be there, but not for us to see yet.

How are the rankings? That's the part we need to look at now especially for a fairly new site, which this one actually is at this point.

Maybe. The PR indicator suxx since they switched from deep+fresh to fresh only.

It's not really a new site. It was just relaunched.
It has 16 >= PR5 links since ages.

Usually I'm not that nervous, but 6 months should be more than enough time. That's half a year. it's 5% of a decade :)

Rankings are ok, but I'd like to give PR from that site to other 'related' sites of that customer. But if all except the starting page are PR white ...

Why can't google just have 'reset' service?
I would like to just place a line in my robots.txt: "DEAR GOOGLEBOT PLEASE RESET YOUR INDEX OF THAT SITE AND START AGAIN FROM SCRATCH"
