Does Google mind images stored in nested folders?

I am re doing our site and have organised all the images into logical folders withing one main image folder eg say australia_pictures>Sydney>maps etc etc ie the main folder will contain many differant sub folders and also sub sub folders.

Will this slow the graphics down and be frowned upon by google as stuffing keywords(as the folders will have australia related names),I need to do something like this to organise all our pictures but should I just have many top level folders containing images and not the nested folders?

I apologise if these are stupid questions but I want to get off on the right track.
Thankyou

This will not affect your page rank, or slow access to the site.

If a page is NOT listed in Google yet, the Googlebar will show an estimated page rank, which will be lower for each level of subdirectory. Ignore this meaningless number!

I dont think Google cares at all about folders. Only link levels matter. Your folder names do not enter into their algo (dont be fooled by the keywords being highlighted after a search).

Thanks for the replies. I want to organise our images etc into logical folders (with names related to our sites subject matter)but do not want Google to think I'm trying to manipulate them -I'm scared stiff of doing anything which unintentionally throws a spanner in the works!
