Does GoogleBot run differently on one run to the next, on the same website, with no change in the site's pages / structure / or pagerank?

Meaning, will it come in one day and do a shallow 1 - 2 page run... then perhaps come in another day and scan 10 pages?

With no changes to the site or site structure or pagerank?

So how often does Googlebot crawl an entire site? Every month? Every 3 months?

It would depend on a number of factors, including PR, number of pages, frequency of updates, new backlinks & internal links found, etc.
