I just saw this job opportunity at Google: Director of Product Management, Googlette [google.com].

Now what could that be all about? Is Google now moving towards VC or is this just some internal development?

Ah ha! As usual, someone beat me to the scoop here ;-). Just noticed the job listing now at 3am (yes, I'm a night-owl).

Googlette. Definitely a strange word choice. When I first saw this, I thought, wow, Google's rollerhockey team is now SO successful that they're hiring for a cheerleading auxilliary component!

I'm just glad they didn't rename their acquired blog tool "Blooger."

"Globber" wouldn't have been too nice either, admittedly.
