I've noticed that Googlebot does HTTP/1.0 requests to my domain. My site is on virtual hosting and doesn't have a dedicated IP. Does this mean that Googlebot doesn't see my website at all?

There's no need to worry, virtual hosting is the norm. Googlebot sends a 'Host:' header, quite a few applications send that header and advertise HTTP/1.0

Fear of being missed by Google makes all of us a bit jumpy at times ;)

Actually, I think this was a great question. It is my understanding that the Host: header was introduced with HTTP 1.1, so a HTTP 1.0 request shouldn't be sending this. Now, I admit that I haven't read these specs in a couple of years, so this is just what I've got left of it in my memory. ;)
