It visited my site from 2 different IPs at the same time? Same page. Why?

It can be one Gbot visiting [yourdomain.com...] whilst the other is dancing around on [yourdomain.com....]

I see you and other members referrig to Googlebot "dancing". What exactly does this mean? :)

I think it should be added to glossary.

i think "dancing" should be REMOVED from the dictonary

"rolling update" seems to be the word to add.

ChrisKud5: it's not even there :)

Can you explaing what dancing is thou?

I understand that rolling update is when Google comes around all the time, not depending on the day of the week/month?

moltar, Google have many semi-autonomous robots. Sometimes you can find that multiple robots (on different IPs) request a URL when they find it via links on different pages.

The dance is when Google is rolling a new index to its various servers. The new results can switch in and out for a few days, hence the term 'dance'. As Google's results get fresher all the time, the instability is never-ending.
