Innocent Cross Linking + Javascript + Google

I did legitimate crosslinking using javascript so google can't follow

Three sites in question : A, B, & C

They are partner sites and I want to provide a link to the other two from each, on all the pages.

Since Google considers this as cross linking, I used the Javascript linking method. But now I hear that Google follows Javascript and I presume that it will consider this as an artificial pagerank boost method, which it is not as can be concluded because I originally used the Javascript method to facilitate the movement of my surfers to my other partner sites.

Now what am I supposed to do? How do I provide the link to my partner sites without agitating Google ;)

If you haven't already read this thread...

You could create a small banner using flash. The link will the be contained within the movie. I have done this in the past for sites I have wanted to link together for the purposes of directing visitors rather than boosting PR. If I had put a text link on the site I guess I would have been penalised for crosslinking.

Spend a 100 bucks on a simple cloaking script and simply serve google the same page minus the links that you think will get you in trouble.

And no, you will not get automatically banned for serving google the exact same page minus 3 links.

Sounds like that cure may be worse than the disease.

oh no, it's a great cure!

in a similar way, it is common in porn industry to serve different pages to people who come to your site from search engines. you never get caught. it's impossible, unless someone specifically writes to google and tells them you are doing that. now even if they receive this letter what are the chances of them actually going to your site to check it? :)

and if you serve google bot a different page - that's even less risky!

and as far as cheating goes, here's an idea:

1. write a simple redirection script that sends regular visitors to your site and google - to another script.

2. when google reaches that "another" script, the script starts to feed the bot with lots of pages (generated on the fly) that relate to the content of your site. this should get your site a higher ranking.

3. when people come to your site from a search engine, redirect them to your main page.

i think, this idea is not new. and it is risky too. for this you would definitely get punished.
