i have just made a sub-domain of one of our performing site.. now as the site is completed i need to upload it.
the question is?
is it necessary to upload the site on the same server where the main site is uploaded .... obivously i am doing this to get the PR advantage of the main site.
so what needs to be done to get that advantage i am looking for. how should i go about doing it?
plz let me know about it soon ...

thanks

PageRank flows via links with no regard for IP addresses or domains; so if you link to your new (sub)domain from a URL with PageRank then you'll give it some PageRank.

In other words: sub-domains do NOTHING for your PR that a new domain or folder wouldn't do. So, the advantage your're looking for doesn't exist I'm afraid.
