Searching with keywords

Using one keyword bring no results.

Our company has three products that fall into separate categories <snip>. On all the search engines I've tried, I need to search for at least two of the keywords in order to appear in the search results, and usually appear on the first page. We need the site to appear in the search engines when only one of the keywords are used, but if I use only one keyword the site may not appear on any of the results pages.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I must be doing something wrong. Thanks

Hi moonglow, welcome to WebmasterWorld.

It depends on how competitive the keyword is. It will be hard to get to the first page for a small new site, if a search for that keyword results in millions of pages or maybe even more. But if you read at WebmasterWorld, you can understand how to get a better PageRank, how to target specific keywords, what to avoid, and much more.
