That should pull everything.
eg allinurl:widgets.com would show results for www.red.com/widgets you need to use the site: command with allinurl
eg. allinurl:www.yourdomain.com site:yourdomain.com
the allinurl command will show any references to yourdomain
No, it will show only the pages of your domain which have been indexed when using it this way:
allinurl:www.yourdomain.com
Try for example allinurl:www.google.com. You will find pages of the following type:
- www.google.com/abc.htm
- www.google.com.xy/abc.htm
- www.domain.xy/www.google.com
- www.domain.com/google/
- www.domain.com/google.html
- www.domain.com/page?site=www.google.com
- www.domain.com/abc/ (It seems that the allinurl command doesn't work as described by Google: 'Google will restrict the results to those with all of the query words in the url.')
Therefore, you shoud use the site command (plus 'domain', '-MadeUpWord' or 'allinurl:www.domain.com').
Googleguy was nice enough to provide this google query (sort of like the "links:" query) that shows exactly what Google has indexed of your site (in my case- one page.....)
It doesn't show exactly what Google has in its index. For my domain it's "about 481" pages.
I don't understand the logic behind that query.
