I have a domain name bought both the com and net so I need to know if I can post the EXACT content on both websites. If not what is best way to handle this? thanks

I wouldn't. If google's duplicate content filter is working correctly, the newer of the two sites would be removed from the index. There's nothing really wrong with that as long as it works the way you want it to, but I'd do a 301 redirect from the secondary domain to the primary domain.

Do an internal site search or site:webmasterworld.com search at google on 301 redirect and you'll find more than you've ever wanted to know on the subject.

If you just have both the DNS's going to the same site and are using host headers then Google will just pick one to be the main site and all the PR will go to one and the other will be a PR0. My guess is the PR will go to the .com.

Apart from the above, why do you want duplicate sites?

Two separate sites give great opportunities to test so many methods of SEO without risking loss of sales.

If you use a 301 redirect, you get to pick, not Google. :)
