Complex hub linking situation - need input

over 1200 domains

I have a client that has 1200 domains. They are all in the same industry and related.

I have been considering a few models:

1. Authority site links to hub, hub links to 200 spokes, spokes link back to authority site (some or all). Recip trades go on hub. Create 6 seperate networks like this.

2. Authority links to 5 hubs which each link to 40 spokes and each spoke or some link to authority site. Recips spread across 5 hubs or same trades on all 5 hubs. Create 6 seperate networks like this.

This could obviously be scaled a few ways - from 1 big network to 6 seperate ones as I have outlined. I am also wondering how many different IP blocks should be used.

I am thinking this for network example 1:

authority - 1 block
hub - 1 block
200 spokes - 10 blocks - 20 per block each on own IP

i've a hunch that you'd get best google benefit with:

authority link to spokes
spokes link to hubs
hubs link to authority

(avoiding recip links pretty much altogether)

and i've another hunch that your anchor text and title of linking page etc will be much more important than network arrangement.

remembering to use deeplinks and avoid dup content will also be crucial :-)

recips are no problem - I would prefer to use recips.

so authority to 1200 spokes which link to 5 hubs which links to authority? or do you mean 6 networks - each with authority linking to 200 spokes which link to 5 hubs which link to the authority?

Using this model where would the recips go?

How many different IP blocks/addresses would you use for this model?
