So, if I read between the lines a bit- Google guy states he expects SJ to spread across the various datacenters.

www goes to a datacenter depending upon traffic load- yes?

If Google will be slowly adding links back to sites after it hits datacenters and is in effect Live, what happens with Yahoo's index version?

I thought perhaps wrongly that Yahoo gets sent a version of the index and that's that.

Is it the case that if Google slowly adds links which changes SERP's this will be reflected in Yahoo as well?

TIA

I suppose this is possible, but this update is so different we might need to just watch and wait.

In otherwords: Not enough information to tell at this point.

Not sure what you mean - a version of the index, I dont think Google give Yahoo an index after each update and then thats that.

I think Yahoo just plug directly into a Google Datacenter - or they are given a feed or something - but it is live data they have as fresh pages appear on Yahoo aswell as Google - Yahoo then applies seperate filters.
