I am currently listed #1 on my main keyword. It can be seen at #1 on all of google's main data centers (www2,www3,www-sj, www-fi, etc.) I was wondering if there is a good chance that my rankings will stay this way when google rolls over to www?

Thank you for your help,

I would say yes... If not you will only drop 1 or 2 places.

Yep, I would agree with the above.

My word shouldn't be taken as anything, No facts just personal experience.

But shouldnt there be more factors involved, when my webpage was first indexed by google, for my main keywords and a number of other keywords I was on top of the list on all datacenters, directly after the update was "said" to be finsished I was on top for the main keywords and other keywords. 2 weeks after I dropped out occasionally, on top when there was an everflux, and when a freshbot was directed from another website that cointained my link.

Now once again I have a #1 serp on www1, www2 and www-sj. I hope I don't sound negative.

regards,
Mark

Should anyone pin hope on good rankings at SJ? I've got a fairly new site (put up in March) that showed at #2 in SJ a few days ago (has never been in WWW as it's new), and now it doesn't show at all anywhere. My brief hopes are completely dashed, and the salt in the wounds is that 2 long-dead sites are at #1 and #2 for my keywords in WWW. Considering those sites (a 404 and a 1-page site on Tripod not updated since 2000) have long held those spots, I'm almost at the point of thinking SEO is utter hogwash and all my careful optimizing and non-spamming has been for nought :-( No, they don't even have much in the way of backlinks, so who knows why they are there or how they remain there.

WWW2 and SJ now show new links never before seen for my keywords. Funnily enough they are links I have on my site, and one is ONLY linked from my site. So that gets listed and I don't, despite having THE most relevant site for my keywords (a person's name) that's ever been out there.

Yes, I am bitter ;-) Just had to let it out!
