Big Drop in Google links

www2.google.com - Penalized? Links?

I was told that www2.google.com shows the newest data from google..
So I was running a search on how many links my site... link:website.com
& I saw 2 different results from www.google.com & www2.google.com

Check this out:
www Shows 670 Links

www2 Shows 291 Links

Why could this be, if anything I have more links now!?
Do you think that I am being penalized or something?

Hello, FloridaDesigns,

Right now, the update is in somewhat of a state of flux. It appears that what is currently on WWW2 is an older index, with some fresh results thrown in. I believe that none of the April Deep Crawl has been reflected there yet.

One of the things that GoogleGuy has said is that backlinks are not yet fully counted.

So my advice is Don't Panic (in big friendly letters), and give it some time.
