PR in Toolbar and directory category differ

Is this a blip, or a sign of bad things to come.

Anybody ever look at the PR of the various directory listings. My site used to have the same
PR in the toolbar as it did in the directory listing toolbar. Now the directory toolbar is
a few notches lower.

I know that the Google toolbar goes to 10, and the directory toolbar goes to 7, but I was 6/10 and 4/7 and now have gone 2/7 on the directory toolbar, and they are referencing the same URL.

Has anybody else noticed a change in there directory toolbar ranking, or do you think this is
a google clitch.

Yes. One of the main sub pages on my site has PR4 on the toolbar but the directory listing shows nada.

When you search for your page does it show a "category"? Mine doesn't even though it's listed. It's been that way since my site "came back" four updates ago. Figured it was a glitch, but this is a loooong glitch :)

I still have my category, when you do a search.
I think you only lose the category if your PR
drops to 0 on the category listing.

Im not to concern about the category ranking, as
I believe most people uses the searches as there
primary method of finding you, and only uses the
category as a backup, if they cant find what they
want.

What wories me, is if the category ranking is a
preview of what your future Google Toolbar PR will be.

Well, since my category PR has been nada for four months while my page PR retained the 4, I doubt you are going to lose the page PR. But, that said, this is a strange one this month so who knows.....
