My site has been dropped from the Google database. My reputation has been tarnished and I am devastated. The problem is that other webmasters place so much emphasis on Google. I put an enormous amount of time and effort developing the site and suddenly I have a gray bar.

I have read the posts of GoogleGuy that instructs webmasters to correct the problem and to request reinclusion. The problem is, I can find absolutely nothing wrong with my site. What should I do?

iSeeker,
Google has been dropping sites. People said it could be just some bug, then the site should be up in the next update. However I am pasting something I posted in another similar discussion. I believe it may be useful to you:

I believe your website was in the google directory? Check if it still exists there:

"If its missing from the google dir. chances are they have dropped it. Its best you send google a mail for reinclusion. Even if the site finds its way back automatically in a few days, a reinclusion request would'nt hurt."

Vishal.

Google has been known to lose sites because a server was temporarily down, etc. I had this happen to me once. Since you say you weren't cheating, this is the most plausible scenario.
