I was wondering if having numerous (over 50) links to news articles on one page of my site is frowned upon. Should I have multiple pages for this purpose or is it ok to have them all on one page?

Thanks in advance for your help

In general, it is best to keep your links under 100 per page.

So, 50 shouldn't be a problem.

Hello joshuaip, welcome to WebmasterWorld.

In the Google's guidelines (Google Information for Webmasters [google.com]) it says

Keep the links on a given page to a reasonable number (fewer than 100)

And even this 100 limit is only a guideline (it is no problem if you have more than 100 links). Do you think a link to a news page would be treated differently by Google?

Thanks for the help guys. I appreciate it. I will just go ahead and sort by month or something and that will allow me to keep my links down.

Thanks
Josh
