Is there a factor that we can multiply the results of this utility to get a rough
estimate of the keyword count on Google?

Unfortunately, no. Google doesn't publish the frequency of searches for specific words or phrases, so we can only guess. The other problem in comparing Overture to Google is that they treat singular and plural forms differently.

If you look at some Overture search term suggestion results, it appears that they are skewed upwards due to one person repeatedly searching for that phrase (possibly with an automated search program like Webposition Gold).

At least you can get a rough idea of the relative popularity of different search phrases from Overture.
