Can we recap on what we learnt from the last update, as there seem to be some major changes and effects. What should we expect from the next update?

I think it would be very valuable to be able to note everyones observations.

There does seem to be some things we can correlate the update with. Most notably, the update never seems to have happened until more than a full week after the deep crawl. Thus, while I can't say with any confidence when the update will be, I expect it won't be any time in April.

Well I think we can all except that trying to work out when the update will be is a sure path to a stomach ulser, but I was wondering if anyone has noticed any major algo changes, 2 of my sites dropped 50% of their traffic after the last update.

There seemed to be a general drop in page rank.

PR drops certainly. E.g a DMOZ cat that interests me dropped from 7 to 5. Quite a drop given the log scale. This was in a relatively static field where I doubt there was drastic change to the inbound links. All points to a noticeable change to the PR computation algorithm.
