Does google spider ssi pages? like pages with the extentions index.shtml (note, the 's' before html). I just made our site incorporate SSI, but I'm hoping it won't affect our google PR?

Jokaroo, Google should be fine, but of course if you have renamed all your pages you may be creating some problems for users with bookmarks and older SE results. You can set your site to process .htm or .html files as .shtml if you wish.

It's good to hear some good news!
I've only changed the front page, and if they linked or bookmarkedd index.html, i have it set to redirect to index.shtml
