I run a New Zealand directory which provides some very good resources to New Zealand websites. From that site I sell advertising on every page. However I sell the advertising by time period, not click throughs, and therefore use straight html links to the advertisers' websites.
These pages have PR 4s, 5s and 6s, I was wondering am I going to get in trouble for selling Pagerank from my site? Although it was not my intention to set it up like this. This advertisers are happy with the traffic they get from my site anyway.

Unless you sell ads specifically for the purpose of PageRank then why should it be a problem?

You're selling quality traffic based on your post, not PR.

No worries.

If you are selling pagerank then so am I, and so is Yahoo!. If you count the time spent as money DMOZ sells the most expensive pr of all.:)

There should be no problem as long as you are not avertising that PR is what you are selling. Many sites sell and many webmasters buy PR either inovertantly or deliberatley.
