ok, i know this is probably a common problem as i know ppl get dropped without rime or reason. i was #3 for one of my keywords (new site, build a month ago). i was there for about 9 days and now i'm nowhere to be found... :0(
i added a few additional kewords to meta/title but i'm very careful - i read alot on spamming and everything on the site is "legal".
any suggestions? i also didn't see googlebot in my access log, how can i make it crawl me?

any suggestions are more than welcome.
thank you so much,
val

Val, your site was indexed with fresbot, it's perfectly normal for those listings to get in there very quick only to disappear later on.
A regular stable listing should be up within the next one or two updates.

Yes, this is a common question and Heini as absolutely right!

I know it can be a little disappointing to show up so well and then disappear.

Take heart that when you do get into the index permanently, that brief period where you showed up is a good indication of where you will fall in the permanent index give or take a few positions.

Try showing up in the number one position for four days then disappearing. That's when you worry.

It's no big deal though. You'll be "in there" before you know it. Just be patient.
