Hi All!

You guys here are so helpful and great! Anyway I have used everyone's advice and our site is now rocking with SE rankings for most of our keywords. Here is my dilemma!
We sell nutrition and are coming our with a new product. Would it be better to simple add our new product to our huge website with good PR and content or create a whole new virtual domain for it and begin the new domain from scratch. We are not going to load our other content pages onto the new domain as this may hurt our rankings due to duplicate content. What should we do? Keep it as one site or create new domains for each product? Will chinging the theme of our original site by adding new products hurt the theme for our original product?

Thanks All!

I’ve seen a theme across this board lately about splitting your products up to different sites.

I guess if your not going to cross link and the content is different and your willing to put in the extra work to build up another site, then I don’t see a problem.

I do think you could just make it part of your existing site and use the power that site is currently wielding to help the new section rise to the top. I would think it would be much easier to take care of one site as opposed to trying to get 20 sites up and ranked well.

We have close to 100 products, so If I use your theory, I would have to make 100 separate sites all with different content. That is a lot of work!

Just my opinion as I’m sure others will think differently about it.

Thanks Mr Guy! I admire your point! I think I will begin to focus on my top 2 sites and leave the others to be for now! TOO MUCH WORK! OOOH MY GOODNESS!
