Title Page Words

Google places a high emphasis on your title. I sell a very wide range of lets say widget products. I sell a lot of brands of widgets and would like these brands listed in my title. I was told that i had to many words in my title. Using the word just the word Widget in my title would be next to impossible to be ranked on the first page. What should i do?

create seperate pages for the brands and optimize the PAGEs for each brand. first, however, determine if searchers are looking for you on a brand widget basis, if not, your concerning yourself about something that you shouldn't be. Find the top keyword phrases associated with your product line and optimize individual pages for individual keywords.

By the way, the impact of a keyword in your title will be greater if it is one of fewer words.
