Google.CA vs. Google.COM

Very different results.

I have a new site in a very competitive sector. After inclusion in Google, the site is 117 out of 1.5 mm for my key phrase.

Just noticed that the site is #6 out of 1.2 mm on Google.CA.

Not complaining, but why the huge discrepancy?

No, it's not everflux.

All the US servers have the same serps for this key phrase.

The big difference is in the Canadian serps.

it is my understanding that Google.ca shows different SERP than Google.com; same way for different country specific Google.

i always thought that it has to do something with "bring better SERP for the area they serve"

also not all sites do get indexed by country specific Googles.

one of my experience....
when i was working with a site that was out of Canada, the site only got listed on Google.ca & Yahoo.ca
took another 2 mo. and number of e-mails to get that listed on .com
