Mack,

Thanks again for your valuable input on Google optimization methodology, felt great.
But your comment on outbound link is rather confusing, how will an outbound link helps to improve our Page Rank?

If you add outbound links towards sites that have a topical authority within your theme there is systematic likelihood that they link to a sites, that links to other sites that link to you.

"the power of the link is found -- not by mere quanity... but link quality. Your outgoing link to a authority site/page adds another generation to the authority sites theme (which is also your theme) and if that site/page is indeed an authority, the "organic structure" (or natural link construct) of many topical generations (a longer topical path) which eventually flows back to you".

In a sense -- you are helping your site to improve its own quality.

Another consideration >> is does little good to add these "authority links" to a page entitled "Links" or "Links Page".

It is far better for you to add these to a page entitled by the topic of the link (or the theme of who you are linking to).

As far as PageRank - in the long run > yes; outbound links will help... however you can't simply stare at a toolbar to see this.

The biggest problem with PageRank is that many look at short-term gains and "IMPORTANCE" (or a measurement thereof) to a specific topic can't be built in days or months but over years with lots of planning.
