Hi guys,

From your experience, do you know what's the maximum number of pages crawled by google deepbot for each PR class?

A month ago I've launched a new site (PR2 at the moment) and at the second crawling of the deepobot it parsed just 250 pages from a total of +10.000.
The site is catalogue/directory-like so till now Google parsed just the categories but not the content itself :(

I think it will be useful if we could make at table with each PR class (1,2, 3 ... 7, 8) and the approximate number of google hits/indexed pages for each one

Have a great weekend!

I think it's more complicated than that and your 150 page limit may have to do with other things. Sticky mail me the url and I'll take a look.

For what it's worth, my site's had about 75-100k pages read each month during the last few crawls and, during that time, my site had a PR of 7. I got knocked down to PR6 with the last update -- break out the tissues -- and, thus far, I've had about 40k pages read in during this latest round of crawling. Deep Bots are still in the house so, if I think of it, I'll give you a final tally when it's over. That said, I should add that it seems fairly certain that the length/depth of the crawl varies from month to month...

One of my client sites, pr7, had about 150k pages
indexed.

My PR3 site is getting hit hard by Googlebot at the moment, over 10k and counting. I hope to have my complete site added to the next google update ;-)

I'm not even sure there is a relationship between PR and pages indexed ...

I got sites with over 20,000 pages and google indexed in many cases 15,000+ pages on the FIRST visit (crawl). That means there was NO PR at that time....

I just put a site for a client online last month just in time for the crawl but it has a PR of 0 still but google is at 5500 Hits and counting...My site has around 25k pages total so its (hopefully) nowhere near being done!

Can someone explain me what PR has to do with the number of pages crawled? Isn't this more about your structure than about PR?

I think the amount of pages that get crawled depends on how static your site is.

Deep Bot's still poking around at a pace of 1000+ pages/hour but I thought I'd update my previous post anyway and note that, thus far, I've had 75k pages of my PR6 site crawled this time around...
