If you changed your web hosting, the chance is google hasn't update its dns, so the bots probably still trying to crawl your old IP.
Dave
Your isp's dns servers can only resolve one ip address for a hostname, there is no such thing as a different dns entry for different protocols. Better check your settings again, and have a chat with your local isp. Which country are you now btw?
"Basically you have not moved your domains's DNS to your own server and
the mysite.net base addy was still pointing at the old server.
You will need to register ns1.mysite.net / ns2.mysite.net as
nameservers at your domain register."
Does this make sense to you guys?
Being in DMOZ (or even Google directory) for a year and a half is not a guarantee that your site is in the google search index. If google can't find you when crawling, the site wouldn't be indexed at all - unranked (grey bar). This happened to me several months ago and my site was grey for a month, then jumped back to its PR6 that it had previously.
If you have a PR0 (white), it is NOT because google came when your site was down - it is because your incoming links aren't high enough PR or you have been penalized for some dodgy SEO practices.
Others have also claimed that google occasionally bans complete IP address.. I don't know the truth of this, but considering you have just moved your site to a new server (I presume a shared one) - it may be worth asking others if they think this might be the problem - particularly if you are convinced you have no dodgy code on your site!
