I have a page with PR 6 (Site A).

If i were to have a link for Site A on approximately 3,000 web pages whose PR ranges from 0 to 5.

Do you think this will increase the PR of Site A?

The links should increase the PR of the page they link to, but it's hard to say whether your page will increase by a whole Toolbar notch or more. It depends on what PR those pages are, as well as how many links are on those pages.

Another factor could be if those pages are all interlinked too.

Around 3000 is a kinda of mass-submission sounding kinda deal! ;)

No all 3000 are not interlinked. They are pages of various web sites.

That wouldn't be a factor in whether or by how much they would increase the PageRank of the PR6 page being linked to -- while it may be a factor in the long-term risk of incurring a penalty.

"while it may be a factor in the long-term risk of incurring a penalty."

Why would i be penalized? These are different web pages of various sites.

I didn't say that you would be penalized; sorry if that wasn't clear. What I meant, in response to a comment that interlinking "may be a factor" in answering your question about PageRank, was that the fact that pages are interlinked has no effect on how PageRank is calculated -- but, as an aside, may be a factor in being penalized.

I was speaking of interlinking in general and not commenting on your link structure, which I know nothing about. :)
