Perhaps much of this is common knowledge to many here, but I came across a large page with many links that I found interesting. I know that Goodle only indexes the first 101k of large pages, and that Google "guidelines" recommend no more than 100 links per page. Here are some of the attributes of the page that I found:

-PR8
-#1 for a single word search term with 1,500,000 results
-101k indexed by Google
-current page has over 2,000 links
-cached page has over 700 links
-a Google search for "link:url-of-700th-link-on-the-page" did show this page as a backlink

That looks right to me swerve, but I'm pretty sure that a page with many links passes less PageRank than the (1-d) PR / numlinks formula used for pages with a normal number of links. (PR in that equation is raw PR, not Toolbar PR)
