My site used to resolve the same content for domain.com and www.domain.com. Google was giving the higher pr to the domain.com pages. In order to be more Google friendly I have put a 301 header on all requests for pages without www. in the URL and send them to the correct (equivalent) page in www.domain.com.
My question is has anyone else done this to a site with quite a bit of popularity and how long did it take for Google to redo the pr and links?
