When trying to assess why a given page has a given PR one may not have all the variables in hands.
Can someone correct whether my logic is wrong?
Thanks.
With the thread above in mind one should conclude that href calls are counted votes to pages, regardless of those called pages using -index or noindex- . Ultimately if they call/vote for other pages PR is correctly pushed forward without appearing in the backlinks using a search.
That no-index page will be known to Google per its high PR and content-guessed due to the links calling to it, without even Google having it crawled once (info by GG).
When to use it:
A page (map) with all the link structure of the site and distributing it evenly throughout the site. One might not be interested having that page-map as number 1 in searches, rather the content pages being presented.
Why to use it -ill-usage- :
Pushing PR to friendly pages and making others crazy why certain pages have such a high PR and not being able to copy the back-link formula. ;)
Please correct if I'm wrong. Thanks
