Since when does selling text link advertising become selling PageRank?
There's nothing to keep anyone from buying a text link for its intrinsic value as a link (i.e., as a source of referrals). But Webmasters who buy links shouldn't get huffy if Google chooses to ignore links from the PR9 site in question when calculating PageRank. After all, those Webmasters paying for buying PageRank, were they? :-)

since prices are determined by pr and number of links, not impressions and size.
....and then Heini answered the question which many have been trying to work out.
