Moved from 80 to 5 during last update, now gone from www?

Still 5 in www2 and ww3 and Yahoo, Please help?

Hi, we moved from about number 80 to number 5 on our top keyword. Yesterday we were showing number 5 in www. www2 and www3 and Yahoo. Today we are gone off www.gogole.com, this at #5 on www2, www3, and Yahoo. Cannot even find the
site on www ie www.mysite.com or mysite.com
Is this normal,what can be going on?

Read the FAQ. [webmasterworld.com...]

Google is updating, it switches between the old index and the new one until it is done. At that time, what you see on www2 and www3 will most likely stay on www.google.com

Thanks for the quick reply.. I would of thought that while it is updating/switching that we would not be completely gone but would still have our old ranking....

I would agree, you should have seen the previously cached version of your site with its old ranking.
