spidering a url means , a search engine will visit ur site and cach ur pages, if ur content is good enough and u have a perticular item or topic and if that software of search engine thinks that it's usefull then it'll put u pup in listing..this is the simplest defination..!
how old ur site is ..!
In the biological world spiders make webs. In our virtual world spiders travel on webs.
The Google spider starts with some central URL, maybe dmoz.org. It fetches the page, examines its contents and then makes a list of all the links on that page. It then follows each of the links that it has found, and again looks for links on the page. And so on, it just follows links to find pages.
Not only does Google rely on links to find pages, it also relies on them to evaluate the quality of the pages it finds.
So the first thing you must do is be sure that there are links pointing to your site. If you have such links Google will find you even if you do nothing.
You can use the Google add URL [google.com] to notify Google of your new site, but the general feeling is that it is useless. If there are links to your site Google will find it, if there are none it will ignore it even if you submit.
