Forgive me in advance if this post is naive in nature. I have a .com website that sells widgets in the US. I want to sell the same widgets in the UK. My main purpose is so that the pages are indexed in google.co.uk.
Can I just purchase a .co.uk .tld and copy the content over?
I don't want to get penalized by search engines for having 2 web sites with duplicate content.
