Is this normal?

Looking at the stats provided by my host it seems the Googlebot hasn't hit me since March 28. Is this a bad sign?

I redid my site last month and submitted to DMOZ for an update. They did update it but changed my title all wrong. I made more site changes and then sent it to the editor for an update again. Still not changed. Plus I show up in DMOZ two different ways. Will that hurt me?

I was hoping this index would help me out. I guess whatever Google has been changing dropped me big time last index. I went from the first page on a search of my keywords to the 10-11 page and haven't moved back.

So, back to he original question. Is it a bad thing that my site hasn't seen the Googlebot sinch March 28?

Thanks!

Your not alone... I still have a PR of 0. According to the link popularity tool, I have 10-20 links to me, from all the search sites, except for google... at a big fat 0.

I dont know what I did to offend them, but I dont spam and don't abuse link partners.

Nothing will show up under Google in the link popularity tool until you have PR over 3. A couple of my sites are the same - one has been up for a few months and has over 50 incoming links but no backlinks showing on Google.

I don't think it means that you've been penalized if Googlebot hasn't been around lately. I hear people with high PR sites complaining that they don't get regular Freshbot visits, and the deep crawl would have been earlier in March.

You're getting PR according to Googles toolbar, right?

If so, mine says 4/10. Guess that's decent for a non-webdesigner who did their own site, right?

Google, show me some loving! I'm struggling here!:D

All links pointing to your site have to be a PR4 or higher to show as a backlink.

Yes, from the toolbar. I haven't even made it into DMOZ yet. My category doesn't have an editor! ( guess I should volunteer )

PR 4 is pretty good. I have one site with PR4, it used to be PR6 but didn't come out of the last update too well. It gets the freshbot on the index page once every couple of weeks and that's it.

The struggle would be a lot easier if Google would just update!
