What are signs of incoming update?

I read that this could be indication of Google update:
"The Google-Cache of many websites switches to an older version".
Is it true?

Are there any other signs?

BTW there were 33 days between previous updates. If we add 33 day to the last update date it'll be April,11.

Last update- (or was it one before that?) you told everyone 48hrs before it happened.

Any chance you can find our or let us know how many days/hours we should just 'forget' about the update?

I was trying to fight the urges of gutting involved here....but I lost. GG said yesterday that they will not update until they have finished testing the new results. This would suggest that they are currently testing the new results?

....I feel so dirty......

What about funny shapes in your coffee foam? Or the patterns of birds flying? All sure fire ways to see the update coming! really!
