This quetsion my sound stupid. But what is Backward Links? is it, pages which are linked to your site? If that is the case, some of my sites is listed in Yahoo categories, but how come it does not show as backward link when i do, link:www.mysite.com? this has happened to the sites with PR3 and below. Do you guys have any suggestions, comments, ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Well spotted. link:www.mysite.com in Google generally only shows links from pages with PR>4. The same command in alltheweb shows more links because it doesn't have the same cutoff.

You're correct. That's a list of all the pages linking to the current page.

It doesn't show links from pages with a pagerank of less than 4.

Try Alltheweb

It shows all pages

use the same command (link:whatever)

Backlink or Backward link [webmasterworld.com] as found in the Glossary [webmasterworld.com].

The Google Knowledge Base [webmasterworld.com] should answer any general Google questions you may have.

Thank you.

Do you think, if i were to have a link from PR5 or PR6 site to PR3 site, it might improve PR of PR3 web site?
