Hello,

I'm a Dutch webmaster. The advantage is that high ranking in Holland is a bit easier than in the english pages.
But for me it's still not posible to get in the top ten in Holland. Ive tried lots of things but there is probably a very easy to fix newbie thing than im doing wrong.

Thanx
Habbe

Hello Habbe, welcome to WebmasterWorld. Unfortunately for you it is not allowed on this forum to put an URL in your posting. Please remove it. I sent you a stickymail (see the 'inbox' at the top of the page), reply to me if needed.

Habbe, I suggest Successful Site in 12 Months with Google Alone [webmasterworld.com]. It was written in February 2002 but remains very relevant to today.

New SEO here as well! Read Habbe's excellent Guide. I was always under the impression that keywords in domain names was important, but Habbe stated: "... Keyword domains are out - branding and name recognition are in - big time in. The value of keywords in a domain name have never been less to se's. ...."

Is this still the case?

(This Google update frenzy is fascinating to see - has it happened yet?)

Thanks

Hi daveking,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld

Keyword domains is a subject we've discussed in the past many times. Rather changing the topic of this thread, you would be better off using the site search to find previous discussions.

Many thanks! I understand. Sorry if I have broken the thread a little!.
