My personal view of SE "submission tools" is that it's a load of rubbish and does no good for your site, everyone agree?

Yep, would also be interested in knowing if it's best to submit site by hand to 'majors' or if submission tools are usefull (actually using one)?

And also how regularly do you guys submit your sites to SE?

Hi

Submission tool might not be the best way to go.

I have tried a few that is not load with crap and it works pretty good to, but you just have to get into the big directories and get some good links pointing to your site and you will do fine, because the major engines will find you!

When you finally are in the engines you dont have to submit your site again, its just waste of time.

When the site search its up running again i suggest that you do a search for "submission tools" there and iam sure you will have all your answers you want

submitwolf seems to have agreement with some of the biggies so they allow their submissions.
Lots of others apparently get blocked...

lol, I tried a submission tool once, it submitted to about 1000 indexes... All it does it make it easy to submit to a lot of search engines at onece.

Oh, and the reason for the 'lol'... Shortly after using the submit tool the email address I specified was bombarded by around 60 junk mails a day.
